breakfast market, and the hot dry noodle of wuhan
one of dani's favorite food is the hot-dry noodle, native of wuhan. ivan promised us he would take us to the breakfast market to see how it was made. cook the noodles, let it set out overnight, next morning, place it in a bowl, add spices, such as shallots, and carrots, with some hot water.
there is a huge variety of breakfast foods at the market and it is the big meal of the day. lunch is ususally rice, as dinner. the breakfast market closes down for the day towards lunch.
this morning, the cooks at the buffet made hot-dry noodle, which dani happily ate. jeff tried it,...........well, let's say it would probably not be one of our favorites.
